Here are some questions I may ask:
What are some advantages and disadvantages of a vet's job?
Do you like your job?
What three aspects do you think a vet requires most?
Is veterinary still your first choice in career?
How did you arrive in your position?
That's what I've came up with so far.... If you have some recommendations on questions, please suggest them and don't just throw your thoughts away! Thanks in advance. =)

I am not a vet but I know they don’t have time for this kind of thing. If you want to interview a vet look in your phone book for the local ones and call the office. Explain what you want to the screener and ask for an appointment. Those are good questions and not too lengthy so they will probably give you 5 or 10 minutes for free but you need to be prepared to go to them. You might also be invited back to observe a surgery if you really have an interest in being a vet yourself.

I would not trust anyone who comes here claiming to be a vet.. you will not get honest answers. There are alot of self-proclaimed vets and vet techs here who have no idea what they are talking about.
Try calling some local vets and ask if one of them would take a few minutes to help with your school project.
